The 150th Celebration Continues…

May 10, 2023

Hey…have your heard? Wilber turned 150 on March 10th and we have not even begun to celebrate! ??

Coming up on June 17th, we will be having an Amazing Race and Community BBQ (entertainment to be announced soon). Tickets will be on sale starting on May 17th. ?

Mr. Bates and his 8th Grade Class have also been working on a little project as well. They are putting together and planning a time capsule. We will hold the burial ceremony on June 25th at the Wilber City Park. See the article published this week in the Wilber Republican. We are super proud of these kids for their work on this project!

#1 In Our Hearts

January 6, 2023

ATTENTION WILBER RESIDENTS…we know that Wilber is the best town around but we need your help in showing the BRAN riders the heart of our little community.

Wilber has been selected as a host town for BRAN 2023! Why is this exciting??? For being a HOST TOWN, we get a $1500 scholarship for one (or more) of our graduating seniors…BUT…if we are voted the BEST HOST TOWN, we receive a second $1500 scholarship that can be split up or given to one senior!!!!

That is up to $3000 for our local kiddos, but we need your help! We are looking for volunteers to open your homes to some of the riders and to help with the activities that we have planned while they are here on June 8th and June 9th.

Go to our BRAN page and scroll to the bottom of the page to the section titled Community Support and sign up to be a volunteer or to host a rider.

We will have some fun ways for everyone in town to contribute to Wilber being voted BEST TOWN so continue to follow our Facebook page and Website and share this post with all of your friends!!!!

Approximately 375 riders will be coming into town in the early afternoon of June 8th and leaving as the sun comes up on the morning of June 9th. It will take a village to make their visit an experience and one that they will come back to see again.

The BRAN Planning Committee will start contacting businesses, organizations and residents after the first of the year with opportunities to help and be a part of the hosting experience.
