Wilber to Host BRAN in 2023

Wilber, NE will be one of the destinations for the 2023 Bike Ride Across Nebraska. Approximately 375 riders will be coming into town in the early afternoon of June 8th and leaving as the sun comes up on the morning of June 9th. It will take a village to make their visit an experience and one that they will come back to see again.

Continue to follow our page for updates. The BRAN Planning Committee will start contacting businesses, organizations and residents after the first of the year with opportunities to help and be a part of the hosting experience. A Hallmark Inspired Celebration

Each year the Wilber Area Chamber of Commerce hosts their Hometown Holiday Celebration. This year they will transform the town into a Candyland Christmas, with gingerbread men, lollipops, the community tree lighting, local shopping and the annual craft show (click link for vendor registration form) and visit with Santa.

A Safer Way to Trick or Treat

October 26, 2022

Each year, the Wilber Area Chamber of Commerce hosts the Downtown Trick or Treat. All of our business have goodies for the kiddos throughout our downtown district. The event will be on Monday, October 31st from 4:00p – 6:00p.

When you get all the candy you can handle, head to the First Evangelical Lutheran Church at 204 S School Street for a hot dog meal.
